For the 2010 season we have added a List Serve, which will allow the Series Board Members to Communicate with the series participants throughout the year, ie, rained out races, Board meetings, and the Annual Awards Banquet. You can sign up at the Fat Tire website at Midwestfattireseries.com.

Welcome to the Midwest Fat Tire Championship Series
The Midwest Fat Tire Championship Series is entering its eighteenth year of promoting mountain bike racing across Missouri. We sanction some of the largest area mountain bike races and are one of the longest running organized series in the country. Our races are some of the best courses in the region where racers enjoy technical, challenging course layouts, while respecting the land and promoting fair use. There are racing categories for all levels from beginners to experts to marathoners. These races offer some of the best competition and camaraderie in the region - join us for the 2010 season!

Category points are posted as well - the fastest 22 racers in Beginner and Sport/Expert are tallied after each race to aid in determining racing categories for 2010.
The top 5 Beginners overall are required per the rulebook to move up to Sport or Marathon for the 2010 season.
